Late Night Mention

If you watched The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight, you’d have seen him make a little mention of our little band in the sand. Craig was reading a fake viewer email asking “If you were on a deserted island and could only have one music CD, what would it be?” Craig cracks a joke about Paris Hilton and then interrupts himself to say:

“You know what actually, I was in Chicago last week or a couple weeks ago. I heard an unsigned band, we’re gonna try to get them on the show, the band they’re called Tally Hall. I know no one’s ever heard of these guys yet. Mancow, a radio DJ in Chicago told me about these guys and I played this record… this band are sensational! I’m not kidding. Sensational! I have nothing funny to say, but they’re sensational! (audience laughs) I’m just saying… They’re very good, so if we get them on the show… y’know now that we’ve said this, of course, they’ll be on Conan tomorrow night. But anyway… (audience laughs and Craig laughs) We can cut that out.”

So Tally Hall will soon gain major national attention. And you better believe this may very likely lead to other late night talk shows (and daytime ones) jumping on the Tally Hall train once they’re seen and heard.
