An Album Two Update from Ross

Ran into Ross on Facebook chat today. Started off with the general “How’s things” chit chat. When asked about the new album, I got a reply that I wasn’t too happy with.

Because I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say, I’ll keep it brief and to the point. Atlantic and TH aren’t seeing eye to eye on the new album. “They just want to sell millions and millions of records” said Ross.

My theory is that Atlantic wants more “MMMM”-esque stuff, while TH wants to experiment and further refine their style (as evidenced with the new bootlegs of “&”, “A Lady”, “Hymn for a Scarecrow”, etc).

Let’s hope that the matter gets resolved soon, and that 2010 release still happens.
